Rare Groove Orchestra to open Night Watch series

The Rare Groove Orchestra will open this year's Amsterdam Night Watch Concert Series in İstanbul when they perform this weekend at the Ghetto Club.
The band, founded in 2003 in The Hague and currently made up of Rob Geboers on Hammond organ, Luca Giordano on guitar, Ivar Zantinge on bass and Dick de Zwart on drums, will take to the stage Saturday at 10:30 p.m. to perform a selection of their songs that blend funk, soul and soul jazz.
