The most tragic issue of periods of transformation is the state of people, organizations, institutions and countries unaware of what has been going on.
Those who keep their positions while everything is changing may realize somewhat late that they have been left out of the picture during such periods. The question I would like you to consider is this: What does a country aware of the fact that change will hurt it do? I'll let you consider this question. Meanwhile, I will give my answer: It does whatever Israel has been doing now. In other words, it wages a campaign against the country that it thinks will benefit from change the most; it starts resistance against transformation through opposition to this country. The current atmosphere is turning against Israel, and Israel wants to reverse this process by opposing Turkey. They will not succeed, however.
