FM Davutoğlu proceeds from Bosnia-Herzigovina to Albania

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, who had been holding meetings with officials in Sarejevo, proceeded to Mostar before leaving for Albania.

Davutoğlu visited Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and the historic Mostar bridge.Mostar Bridge built by Architect Hayruddin --one of the students of the legendary Ottoman Architect Sinan-- in 1566 was heavily damaged during the civil war in Bosnia-Herzegovinia. Turkey made huge contributions to the reconstruction and restoration of the bridge which has symbolic significance.

Davutoğlu later proceeded to Albania.

Davutoğlu, who arrived in Sarejovo on an official visit Friday, met earlier with Bosnian Presidency member Haris Silajdzic and the two opened the the "Yunus Emre Culture Center".

Davutoğlu also met with leaders of Bosnia-Herzigovina's political parties in Sarajevo and gave a conference on Ottoman heritage in Sarajevo.

Davutoğlu, who arrived in Tirana, Albania Saturday evening, attended a dinner hosted in his honour by Albanian Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Ilir Meta.

Davutoğlu is also expected to meet with Albanian Premier Sali Berisha and Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli.
