6 October 2009 / THE ANATOLIA NEWS AGENCY, BANDIRMA
A Turkish distributor of the Italian Same-Deutz-Fahr group has begun manufacturing Same and Deutz tractors in Bandırma town of Turkey after an investment of five million euros.

Speaking to the Anatolia news agency on Tuesday, marketing manager of the Şahsuvaroğlu company, Ahmet Yenişehirli, said that they had been marketing tractors, harvesters and agricultural equipment of Same-Deutz-Fahr group in Turkey for long years.

For many years, we have sold imported items. We have realized our goal of erecting a factory in Turkey to manufacture tractors. We began tractor manufacturing in July, Yenişehirli said.

Our factory cost five million euros to construct. We are now manufacturing tractors with 50, 60 and 70 horse powers. Our goal is to manufacture 2,000 tractors per year until 2012. Our factory has the capacity to manufacture 10,000 tractors annually, Yenişehirli said.

Şahsuvaroğlu company's factory sits on a land of 140,000 square meters.
