Liam Neeson joins Haggis-directed thriller

Liam Neeson has joined "The Next Three Days," an upcoming thriller directed by Paul Haggis, Variety reported this week.
Starring Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks in the leading roles, the movie started filming Friday. Crowe plays a teacher whose wife (Banks) is arrested for a murder she says she didn't commit. Neeson plays an ex-con and expert on prison escapes who becomes involved in her husband's effort to break her out of jail.
