France’s Peltier presents ‘Die-Casting' in İstanbul

French artist Gael Peltier will present “Die-Casting,” a performance art project he has prepared for an upcoming contemporary art exhibition in France, today in İstanbul, unveiling a piece originally prepared for the ongoing Season of Turkey in France.
Peltier -- also known as Rupert Pupkin -- will present his performance, in which he plays a TV show host and calls on audience members to contemplate myths of cinema, today at 7 p.m. at the French Cultural Center in Taksim. Admission to the event is free of charge. The performance is in French, and simultaneous translation into Turkish will be available.
