Bezar's ‘Min Dit' wins at San Sebastian festival

“Min Dit” (The Children of Diyarbakır), the debut feature film by Germany-based filmmaker Miraz Bezar, won the Gaztea Youth Award at this year's 57th San Sebastian International Film Festival over the weekend, the filmmaker's publicist announced this week.
The film, co-produced by Fatih Akın and Klaus Maeck, was filmed in its entirety in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır and features dialogue in Kurdish and Turkish.
