Fassbinder's ‘Katzelmacher' at İstanbul Goethe Institut

“Katzelmacher,” by German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder, will be screened this week at the Goethe Institut in İstanbul as part of a weekly program that runs through December at the center.
The 1969 film follows an aimless group of friends whose lives are shaken up by the arrival of an immigrant Greek worker, Jorgos, played by Fassbinder himself. The showing will start at 7 p.m. and admission will be free of charge.
