Jazz twist on Turkish folk by Bazar Kumpanya

Bazar Kumpanya, the six-piece jazz ensemble formed by France's long-running Didier Labbé Quartet joined by two Turkish folk musicians, zurna player Recep Sırplıoğlu and bağlama player Cem Varveren, will present a live performance this week at the French Culture Center in İstanbul's Taksim.
Bazar Kumpanya, who also recorded and released an album in İstanbul in 2007, will be onstage on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Ticket price: TL 5
