Mine explosion kills one in Şırnak

One person was killed and another was injured yesterday when a mine exploded in the Silopi district of the southeastern province of Şırnak.
The deceased was identified as Fikret Güvercin, 23, who was on board a truck carrying workers north of Balıkaya village. The injured person, İsmail Ataman, was hospitalized at Şırnak State Hospital.
Four workers were killed and nine others were injured at the same site on July 6.
