Boy found dead in Diyarbakır barn

The body of an 11-year-old boy was found hanging from the ceiling of a barn in the yard of their house in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on Wednesday, the Anatolia news agency reported.
The family of Osman K., of Selman village, notified the gendarmerie immediately after they saw the boy's body in the barn. Osman K.'s body was sent to the Diyarbakır Forensic Medicine Council for an autopsy after an initial investigation by the gendarmerie. In another incident, an 8-year-old girl, Leyla Baykuşak, who left home to go to a nearby grocery, has been missing for the past 18 days. Her father, Veysi Baykuşak, said in tears that his daughter had disappeared and that he was calling on those who might have kidnapped her to return her to her home.
