Doğan and Eskiköy's ‘School' to open in October

“İki Dil Bir Bavul” (On the Way to School), direc-ting duo Özgür Doğan and Orhan Eskiköy's documentary that premiered in 2008 at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), will get its Turkish theatrical release on Oct. 23, the movie's distributor, Tiglon Film, has announced.
The film follows a 20-something Turkish primary school teacher from a western city appointed to teach in a Kurdish village in southeastern Anatolia.
