Golden Orange unveils poster for 46th edition

The poster for the 46th International Antalya Altın Portakal (Golden Orange) Film Festival was revealed on Thursday. The poster features a woman's eye with her iris colored in orange.
The eye depicted on the poster, while resembling an orange, as in the festival's title, refers to “cinema's characteristic traits of both seeing and showing,” the Antalya Foundation for Culture and Art (AKSAV), the festival organizer, announced in a written statement yesterday. The poster's visual concept was designed by İlyas Başsoy, and the photo on the poster was taken by artist Muammer Yılmaz, the Anatolia news agency reported.
The Golden Orange is Turkey's longest running and most prestigious film festival. The annual festival's 46th edition is scheduled for Oct. 10-17 in the Mediterranean coastal city of Antalya.
