Wolfsburg wins as Bremen holds Bayern

Defending champion Wolfsburg rallied with two goals in two minutes to beat Cologne 3-1 and open a provisional two-point lead in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
 Bayern Munich remained without a win in the new season, coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at home against Werder Bremen. Mario Gomez scored his first Bundesliga goal for Bayern in the 72nd minute to salvage the point after Mesut Oezil shot Werder ahead after 39 minutes. Hamburg scored three times in the first 12 minutes and beat Borussia Dortmund 4-1 to take second place in the standings on goal difference over Eintracht Frankfurt, which drew 1-1 at home with promoted Nuremberg. In other matches, Stuttgart beat promoted Freiburg 4-2, Hannover drew 1-1 at home with Mainz, another promoted team, and Bayer Leverkusen edged Hoffenheim 1-0.
