Irmak's ‘Alone' is best feature in Rhode Island

“Issız Adam” (Alone), Turkish filmmaker Çağan Irmak's 2008 romantic drama, was named best feature at last week's Rhode Island International Film Festival, the Anatolia news agency reported.
The film, which tells of the desolation inflicted by modern city life on a romantic relationship, was among 235 cinematic works submitted from more than 57 countries to the 13th Rhode Island International Film Festival, held on Aug. 4-9.
