Serdar Akar starts filming Mahsun Kırmızıgül script

Turkish film director Serdar Akar has started work on his upcoming feature, “Gecenin Kanatları” (The Wings of the Night), whose script was co-written by singer-turned-filmmaker Mahsun Kırmızıgül and Ahmet Küçükkayalı.
The film, featuring Beren Saat and Yavuz Bingöl in its principle cast, is expected for a Dec. 11 theatrical release. Akar previously directed “Kurtlar Vadisi Irak” (Valley of Wolves -- Iraq) and “Barda” (At the Bar).
