A group of university students gathered yesterday in front of the Prime Ministry building to protest a recent increase in university fees.
The group carried signs reading “Thank you, prime minister,” and the spokesperson of the group read a statement demanding the government rescind the increase in university fees.

Following the statement, the placards were thrown away, and new signs reading “No thank you, no bargain. No to university fees” were carried.

Meanwhile, officers at the Prime Ministry building surrounded the students and later closed the entrance to the building. The group dispersed without incident.
