Venezuelan documentaries set for İstanbul outing

“El Caracazo,” a 2005 Venezuelan historical film that recounts the riots of El Caracazo on Feb. 27, 1989, in and around Caracas, will be screened this month at the open-air movie theater of the Nazım Hikmet Culture Center in İstanbul's Kadıköy as part of an upcoming film program at the center, which will feature documentaries on the South American country.
The film, directed by Roman Chalbaud, will be shown on Aug. 19 at 9 p.m.
