Oğuz's ‘Sıcak' to join Irmak's film in Montreal

Turkish filmmaker Abdullah Oğuz's 2008 drama “Sıcak” (Hot) has been added to the 33rd Montreal World Film Festival lineup following last week's announcement that Çağan Irmak's “Karanlıktakiler” (Those in the Dark) will premiere at the festival.
“Sıcak” follows a young couple as they set out on a journey that later turns into a nightmare. Both films will be shown in the fest's Focus on World Cinema program. The festival runs Aug. 27-Sept. 6.
