‘Secret DEfense' (Secret of State)
Terrorist groups and intelligence agencies fight each other every day. Nevertheless, secret agents and terrorists lead very similar lives, full of secrecy and manipulation. Alex (Gerard Lanvin), an agent with the French secret service DGSE, and Al-Barad (Simon Abkarian), the mastermind of a terrorist network, fight using the same weapon: humans. Alex recruits Diane (Vahina Giocante), a young student of Arabic, to join the DGSE, and they train her to infiltrate Al-Barad's terrorist organization. In the meantime, Pierre (Nicolas Duvauchelle), a young delinquent from a loveless home, is attracted to Islamist circles where he seems to find a meaning in life, not suspecting where it will lead him.
