Couple victim of grisly murder

The bodies of a young couple found over the weekend near a small lake in the Lüleburgaz district of the northwestern province of Kırklareli had sustained gruesome injuries reports said.
The bodies of Ümit Bozkurt, 24, and Özlem Işık, 20, were discovered, one with a burned face and the other decapitated. Işık, her face wrapped up in plastic, was found to have been killed between five and seven days ago. As a result of the investigation conducted by police, the body of Bozkurt was found 100 meters away from Işık's body. Their families of the couple, who were said to be in a relationship, had been looking for them for a week, reports said although there was no information on who might have committed the brutal murders or why.
