Search dog Pako to replace retiring canine Duman

A Labrador retriever, Pako, will take the place of a narcotics-sniffing dog, Duman (“Smoke”), at the Adana Police Department after Duman, who had helped with several drug cases while serving with the force, retired due to health problems.
Duman, a golden retriever who had been working with the Adana Police Department's narcotics branch for two years, was forced to retire due to a problem in his hind legs. Duman also served as a drug dog with Rize's police department.
Duman played a key role in the department's seizure of nearly 1,000 kilograms of cannabis and 600 kilograms of other drugs. Officials at the Adana Police Department stated that Pako was brought in from Elazığ.
