Pianist Emre Elivar plays solo recital in Gümüşlük

Turkish pianist Emre Elivar takes the stage tonight at the old Church of Eklisia in the southwestern holiday town of Gümüşlük near Bodrum at the Sixth Gümüşlük International Classical Music Festival.
The 33-year-old Elivar, who frequently appears with the Berliner-Sinfonie, Nordwestdeutsche Philhar-monie, Orquestra Nacional do Porto and the Lit-huanian Chamber Orchestra, will be onstage at 9:30 p.m. for a solo performance. Admission is free of charge.
