Dumont's ‘Angel at Sea' wins at Karlovy Vary

Belgian filmmaker Frédéric Dumont's “Un ange à la mer” (Angel at Sea) was the big winner at this year's Karlovy Vary Film Festival, taking home the $30,000 Crystal Globe for best film.
The Morocco-set film, which examines the hell an unstable father can create for a boy, also won the best actor prize for Olivier Gourmet, Variety reported. Iranian director Abdolreza Kahani won the jury's special prize for “Twenty” at the 44th festival, which ran July 3-11.
