Two soldiers were killed in the Kato Mountains of the eastern province of Şırnak in clashes with members of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on Saturday.
The PKK also suffered losses. Three terrorists were found dead in the Kato Mountains following the clash.
Another soldier was also killed by PKK terrorists in a clash between PKK terrorists and security forces that occurred in the Kato Mountains on Friday.
The PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the EU and the United States, has been waging a bloody war in Turkey's Southeast since 1984. More than 40,000 people have been killed during the bloody conflict so far.
