One constitution, three elections

The prime minister has explained his decisions concerning switching to a presidential system and rewriting the new constitution. Having abandoned hope for the four parties represented in Parliament to reconcile over a new draft, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan decided to take a draft prepared by the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) to Parliament and to the public.
