A press release issued Sunday from the Foundation said the summit would be held between May 6-8, 2009 with the participation of 41 countries.
A wide range of topics like energy issues, energy security and cooperation, the global financial crisis, global coordination and regional cooperation, tourism, ecology and environment and global warming will be discussed during the summit.
Under the energy topic, integrated approaches in gas pipeline projects like Nabucco, transportation of Caspian gas to Italy over Turkey and Greece will be taken up in detail.
Also former presidents of various countries will brainstorm to find ways to overcome the global financial crisis at a gathering titled "Gathering of wise Men from Baltic to black sea and Black Sea to Central Asia."
24 ministers, 3 deputy premiers and a parliament speaker will also attend the summit.
