37 people were apparently killed when a Yak-40 commuter plane crashed in Uzbekistan yesterday. The ITAR-Tass news agency reported that all the passengers and crew died instantly in the crash. The plane is said to only have a 30-person capacity plane. The cause of the crash of the Tashkent to Tirmiz flight has not been established yet, although authorities have ruled out suspicions that the aircraft may have been attacked. Dense fog is thought to have been a factor in the crash.
