Turkish Cypriot President Derviş Eroğlu left the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) on Monday to have meetings with top-ranking EU officials in Brussels.
Eroğlu is scheduled to meet with EU Commission President José Manuel Barroso and other senior EU officials in Brussels. He will talk about the KKTC's position on a reunified Cyprus and about ending the isolation of Turkish Cyprus.
Eroğlu is accompanied by a delegation comprising his special aide Kudret Özersay, Second Secretary Güneş Onar and Erhan Elçin, head of the KKTC Prime Ministry's European Union Coordination Center, on his visit to Brussels.
The president is scheduled to return to the KKTC on Wednesday evening after the completion of the talks with EU officials.
