Another reality, needed to be seen, this resistance (I am not saying passive resistance) giving a rebirth of history, is the fact that it came out as a result of people struggling against the internalization of U.S. world hegemony. The West's view of Hegelist history, seems to assume that the liberal democratic values it owns are the final point in the process of Geist 'knowing his ownself.' Isn't Fukuyaman's thesis, 'End of History,' a summarization of this and not the heart of his thesis? "Humanity has reached the highest values that exist. After this, no large measures of ideological changes are going to occur in the West anymore. History has stopped the process that formed a synthesis in the reciprocal influence and interaction of thesis and antithesis. This is because liberal democracy's anti-thesism could not be produced." Fukuyama, was also aware that liberal democracy wasn't governing the world yet, and also believed that these last values the West has arrived at were going to transport the passengers, who were behind the 'history caravan, to this last castle in the final historical framework. If this is not a reflection of the effort of the Anglo-American alliances to bring democracy to Afghanistan and Iraq, then what is it?

It is some kind of Nirvana, another kind of Fenafillah, a setting up of God's kingdom here on earth or Medinet'ul -Fadila... It is possible to compare this reaching for Geist situation to the descent of 'sekine' when religious terms are used. When 'sekine' descends to the world of politics there is no tomorrow. Because tomorrow only exists as long as the expectations and anxieties exist. If this is how today, tomorrow and all days after are known with absolute information, then time won't have a meaning anymore and history would really cease to exist.
It being the case, Afghanistan shows that those, who stayed behind the liberal democracy caravan, are going to continue to resist from their present locations. The things that are happening in Iraq and Saudi Arabia are the harbingers that the expectations and anxieties about tomorrow are gradually increasing. The U.S. administration's only anxiety about tomorrow before the Iraq war was the imaginary weapons of mass destruction. It is obvious that these days, the whole of America is even more worried. And anxiety always gives birth to expectations. And this is for tomorrow. And this is for history.
What is seen is that liberal democracy could only be a 'fake Geist.' But considering that had we used sources of Christianity in this article as well, I think we would have added one Bible verse, the balance of the scale won't be ruined. Jesus the Messiah says: "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many...But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved."
