New summer schedule from Germanwings

Cologne-based low-cost carrier Germanwings, which made its first fight to Turkey (Cologne-İstanbul) in late 2002, is now attracting attention for its prices, which start from only 19 euros.The company describes itself as firmly committed to the principles of easy access, safety, security and punctuality, and hopes to expand its business in Turkey with new destinations. Germanwings will add Antalya to its summer destinations from May 15 and will connect Cologne/Bonn, Stuttgart, Berlin and Hamburg with the Aegean region with its İzmir flights starting from May 17. The low cost carrier will also add Ankara to its summer destinations from May 2. All of the scheduled flights to and from Turkey are made with Airbus A319s and A320s, and the İstanbul flights are operated from Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
